Jen, I've been wondering where you were and how you are. I see you are in NY now. Is it permanent? Drop me a note when you get a chance.

Jen, I don't have much in the way of brugs (yet), but if you have room for perennials, I'd be happy to share any I have with you.

I would be delighted to share anything I have...horrible to lose your faves!!!

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Wow, thanks y'all.
I was able to grab a few plants but had to leave alot behind. The only brugs that i brought were the ones that i knew were correctly labled.
The extint of the landscaping in the front and side yards are 2 apple trees, lol. .....oh and a huge tractor tire that has whirly birds in them : ).
Its good to be back!

I'm sitting here this morning kinda on edge because the wind is howling so bad. It woke me up about 2 am and i think i had some sort of a flashback : (

We wanted a change, a slower life. Just seems to be a strange time of year to move up here, eh?

I was on the deck yest and a herd (?) of deer walked through the adjoining field. They are pretty now, but i imagine come spring i'm gonna be hopping mad if they eat my plants. Well, that is after i get some, lol.

I would love to have you visit!!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Thats funny
I think of down south being a slower life........

Y'all are the best!!

Bills family is from here and his dads health is failing. We wanted a change, hoping for a better quality. We rolled around different places, Missouri, Texas, Arkansas (bought 11 acres there) and when it came down to it we both agreed on NY. I'll give it this, its beautiful up here. Theres this one bend in the road that i live on that on a clear day you can see forever...its amazing.
I hope i never lose the sense of awe and breathlessness

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

MsJen, I'm just glad you are safe.
You love it up there ??? bwahahaha .......... just wait a couple months.

Living is slower and more laid back the further South you go.
I've lived in FL, Michigan , Wisconsin and California and points in between.

Up here we are forever hurrying with things that must be done in preparation to beat the next seasonal change.

But we don't get the snow that CC does at least.

Poor lil CC , I don't know how she can stand it.

New Hyde Park, NY(Zone 7a)

alot of people when they think of NY think of the hustle and bustle of the city and don't realize that the city is just a very small part of NY. NY is actually very beautiful and can accomidate just about any lifestyle (country, city or mountains)

I hope you will be very happy where you are, upstate NY is one of the most beautiful place's I have ever seen.

Don't forget to contact me in the spring for whatever you need
