Is any one else's spring bulbs coming up now? It is not just in one place but all over the yard.

Not spring bulbs, but my trees are confused. My purple magnolia and pear tree is blooming...never seen that in the fall. I'll have to check out my Day Lilies and other bulbs.

My purple magnolia is blooming too. This is really strange.

I have a Sago palm that sent out a second flush. I read on one of A & M's websites that some plants go dormant in this hot Texas heat during the summer. When the weather cools, the plants are fooled into thinking it's spring and bloom again. Supposedly, it doesn't hurt the plant. So enjoy!

Veronica, thank you so much I was sure worried about them. Now if we do not get a freeze next week we will be OK. Boy is this weather craze.

Yes, my drum stick alliums are coming up. I planted them last fall and they did beautifully, but I don't know what is normal for these bulbs concerning the time of year they poke their heads up.

I usually get Muscari leaves coming up now and even Dutch Iris in the fall. The plants still seem to bloom normally at proper time during the spring though. I have seen a couple Southern Magnolias in my neighborhood with flowers on them, too.

Steve, thanks you are in 7b and we are 8a so if it is all right where you are then I am safe here. Joan
