Rooting home

Los Angeles, CA(Zone 9a)

I took some pictures of hoyas I am trying to root. They are in water, vermiculite/perlite, and baggies. They all have a heating pad under them, fan to the side, and a room humidifier. That is natural light. Does this look right. Any suggestions, comments? Is it okay to place the ziplocked ones on top of each other. Here goes.....

What a wonderful set-up you have there Heather. It looks like you've got all the necessities covered. That lovely wooden shelving unit is awesome.

I am IMPRESSED, Heather! What a great setup! It's so neat and tidy too. Hmmmm, I'm going to have to learn to be a little neater...

Wow, thanks for all of the praise! I wasn't expecting that! Donna, those are cuttings I have made, Carol's, and Mel's. I can't wait to show my hubby this post. Looks clean, ha ha! Notice I show only close up, you should see the rest of our house, there is potting equiptment everywhere. I just wanted it to look nice for the picture. The shelf is awesome, got it at an antique store. I has four huge glass doors that fit into it. We knocked out the back, and I drapped a drop cloth of plastic so it could receive sunlight. The biggest down fall is that it measures 47" accross. Most plant lights are 48". I have some 24" flourescents in there, but I that doesn't cover all of the plants. I'm glad you all like the set up. Hope some of you got some ideas!
Heather
