Okay I am very new to gardening. I permanently borrowed a cutting from a plant last fall and it looks like all your posted picture brugs, except for the color, it has a double flower and is white and deep purple. I will take a picture of the next bloom but until this is what I have. Also, there is a small acorn shaped pod that has formed where the last bloom had fallen off. Are these seeds???

Actually, there are no brugmansia that have the color purple in them yet, and definitely not a purple one. I can see the seed pod and what you have is a datura. I have no idea what the name of it is, but there is a datura forum that would be able to help you. Good Luck. I hope you get all the information you need on this one.
