Twyler I am glad they arrived, have no idea why some should be bad as I was very carefull about packing, and labeling, they were all so nice and healthy when they left me, hopefully they will revive in water or potting, maybe that happens when they are in the dark too long.

Laurens, SC(Zone 8a)

It is also far from cold yet!! I have received Brugs from Kareoke in the last week of so. Everything was fine, well packaged!! Maybe a Thank You is in order for your FREE gift??
How many people complain about a free gift--especially one so wonderful as you received???? I would have been OVERJOYED and very thankful!! Bonnie

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I wonder if what Twyla is seeing as frozen might not be the very tips that will sometimes fall off in transit and turn to mush, especially when humid. I looked at the cuttings, and I think they should all root, with some care. Just don't overwater them if you put them in soil.

Premont, TX(Zone 9b)

I also received brug cutting from Doris and they were well packed and in great shape.I was very grateful to her for sharing her garden with me.. By the way most have rooted already in a weeks time

Thanks Doris

I have deleted this but than decided to leave it up.
I was the one that recived a nasty email just because I stated that Doris had send me big healthy brug cuttings... I didnt do anything wrong but simply stated the facts.than I get an email telling me that Hope43 for prayed for me when I needed prayers (when I had my stroke) and Doris hadnt. So What ? When I say prayers for anyone I dont attach any strings to them.I was gratefull to all that prayed for me when I needed them. I wasnt taking sides simply stating that Doris had semd me cutting also ...To top it off the person sending the email has only been a member less than a month...and allready is causing trouble.. I am going to send the emails to dave.

I debated answering this but whoever sent you the email should ask themselves if they always publicly announce that they are praying for someone, I give my prayers willingly to anyone that need them, and most times in a private email.

I am sitting here reading the last few posts shaking my head ,maybe I AM NOT getting it.
I am seeing someone receiving a very generous surprise gift of Brug cuttings which some appeared to the receiver to have frozen in transit.

Some others stood up for the sender saying that the cuttings they received were fine.

Prayers for what ? that the Brug's will make it or what ?
this is a thread were some of the more experienced brug collectors have some advice to offer i.e.Shirley so I am asking again "Prayers for what ?"

I sent doris a thank you and i was very thrilled not griping if anyone knows me they know i appreciate always kindness not ungrated ful.. i will give them love care but wanted to know what about them try to.? sorry i upset my sender to send me a not nice e mail she read all wrong, i'm plain person not fancy talk. i have got cuttings before from doris very good ones, but things can happen though not my fault.... so i ask forgiveness to everyone thought i was wrong ungrateful gripping..

Tulsa, OK(Zone 7a)

Bonnie i did appreciate was very grateful for your gift.. i will give them love and care to!!!you misunderstood it all is all i can say.. if don't know what i meant i'm sorry to..

San Jose, CA(Zone 9b)

You know, that's the problem with written words...they are sometimes misunderstood because you can't see the huge smile and twinkle in someone's eyes. Bonnie, what you did was so thoughtful ~words can hardly describe. I, too, have misunderstood a note or email because I had only words to rely on.

You are both wonderful, special ladies and we at DG are lucky to have you here. I am sure you will treasure your brugs, Twyla.

I am sorry if it feels I am "butting in", that is not my intention. This situation just hit a bit close to home for personal reasons.

Ok--well--gift received and hopefully being rooted as this is being typed. Incident over. Enjoy your Brugs Twyla. No one sent you a nasty email though--not me and not Doris. Though I was shocked at your response--I thought joy was more what you would respond with. Oh well. Can't please all the people all the time. To please some some of the time is doing great!! (Also this was not done for any personal acclaim or any such nonsense--this was a gift.) Bonnie
