Hi Maggie,

I would be interested in a couple of these cuttings. I don't have much to offer at the moment and it's dark out so I can go out to see but can check when I get back from the hospital in the morning.

I am new to Dave's Garden and also new to Brugs.
I don't have alot to offer right now as I live in Maine and things are not in great shape outside due to our cold weather already.

I would be willing to split my (I THINK it's Wonder of Staffa but not 100% sure) Aster with you. You can see it here:

http://www.jakesplace.biz/kimskreations/TEMPLATES/KimsKountryTemplate.htm

or if you prefer, I would take a couple cuttings of my Lipstick Plant (houseplant) for you.

I would simply love to have a cutting of Pink Beauty and would also send postage if you prefer.

Please let me know, I greatly appreciate it.

Here is my baby brug (Spring Peach) with it's very first bloom in my kitchen:

Thank you again,

Hey, Kim, welcome to Daves.

Maggie, I got to know "what's the real charles Grimaldi"

and I've been spelling mine wrong for quite sometime now LOL. I thought it was germaldi. There's alot of that going on isn't there LOL or is grimaldi different one that the germaldi. I might just be spelling it wrong, I do have that one though. Did you get my box yet. it should be coming soon, I could have sent CG for you.

Hey Kathy!

All I know is this: Some folks have Charles Grimaldi and some have Dr Seuss and people have gotten them mixed up. From what I can gather, Charles Grimaldi is supposed to tolerate our heat here in TX better than the Dr, but the Dr does so well here, I can't imagine it. :~)

But Charles Grimaldi is such an 'old' Brug it's getting hard for me to find it.

That's all I know for now, but would sure like any more info anyone can add. :~)

Eustis, FL(Zone 9a)

Thanks,
Melanie

We woke up to a temp of 70 degrees this morning. I don't want y'all to worry that I'm not shipping cuttings out yet - but some things are budding for the first time this year and I hate to whack them back now. After I've spent some time outside today, I'll post another list of what's still available.

Maggi :~)

Hagerstown, MD(Zone 6b)

Thanks for keeping us updated Maggie. Can't blame you at all for wanting to see more blooms and some of the first blooms. I will be watching for the list.

Ashton, IL(Zone 5a)

Maggi, even some of mine here in zone 5 are still blooming. I'm with you, hate to cut them back and miss any of the flowers and the wonderful scent at night. Winter will be here soon enough!

I'd wait to see them bloom, too! I have a Frosty Pink that was just putting out buds when it turned cold here. I tried to keep it going inside so I could see it bloom, but it has already lost most of its leaves, so I will just have to wait til next year.
I wasn't worried that you had forgotten us, anyway! ;o)

Oooooh, I'm so sorry I missed out on this. I had a white Brugmansia until about mid-way through the summer when my DH accidentally backed over it with the rider mower. It was the pride and joy of this summer's acquisition and I was heart-broken, but I didn't let him know. He felt bad about it as it was.

I'm a newbie so I don't have anything to trade yet (working on it) but I would be willing to pay postage if anyone is willing to share a cutting. It doesn't have to be white either. I saw some of the photos in the Plant Files and I didn't realize there were more colors than just white and yellow!

Blessings,
Frausnow

Premont, TX(Zone 9b)

If you have any left over I would love some cuttings for postage

(Maggi) Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

Like I said, frausnow and emh48, I'll put an updated list here soon. You haven't missed out entirely!

Thanks for y'alls understanding about me not wanting to do a lot of cutting. It was a lousy year for Brugs here and I'd like to salvage something from it.

I'm hoping to add more to this page on our web site in the next few days. The photos were all taken on November 6

I'm editing this today, Nov 23. We've shipped out at least 100 boxes of cuttings from all the offers I ran and the ones kenboy (DH) promised elsewhere! We're going to be gone for a few days, but I will ship a few more boxes next week. I should have another list up here by Dec 3rd or 4th

Hello..
I'm a newbie.. intent on having these in my "area" somehow. I would love to have a cutting.. of any color! The photos on your site are incredible. I can't get these awesome blooms off my mind! I'm sure your overwhelmed with requests, and I don't want to push it. I don't have much to offer in trade yet, but will gladly send postage. If you are at your limit, I will surely understand.
Thank you.

OK, all you latecomers, I'll try to get a list sometime before the end of the year - Hahahaha!

I did get some of the leftovers started in pots and should have a fairly good selection of rooted cuttings.

The problem is, I don't want to send them thru any freezing weather.

These cuttings should be well rooted come Spring (or late Winter)

D mail me with your addresses - I have switched ISP and email so it's kinda confused right now.
