Finally a Ginger Flower...and Thanks!

Our Hedychium coronarium (I think) is finally in flower.
This is the first ginger we've ever had flower.

Thanks to you all for the help.
Especially the owner of the pond pic where I saw it growing in the water.
Sorry but I can't remember who's shot that was.
I shifted them to a shallow pond.
They are now 5' tall and.........................

Have you smelled the bloom on them? They smell so good. Just like a honeysuckle.

Yes I was really surprised by the oder.
We have some Brugs blooming right near it so you have to get in close.
It does smell like HS to me too.

I love them too. I have them growing in my pond, around my pond, and a few other places too. The scent is incredible and the plant is so easy to grow.
