Ooooh I love a Parade! Pink on Parade!!!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Here are a few pics of some blooms I have going on right now. This is from left to right
EP
Miss Emily MacKenzie
Painted Lady
Susanne
Mary K

The color sure isn't as intense as it was when the weather was hot. I've been waiting for all of them to be in bloom together so I could get a pic of them. Today PL opened up and I thought I should get a quick shot before the cold gets them. I had to take many leaves off (as you can see) to get some decent pics.

This is Susanne...she certainly has been beautiful here. Her color is much darker in the heat.

This is Miss Emily MacKenzie, she and Susanne look alike to me, except MEM is larger. They both have gorgeous dark pink color in the heat.

Last pic....

This is a pic of EP (sad looking.....I think most of the blooms are gone by now) in the front with MEM in the middle and Taylor's Dawn in the background.

There should be some interesting crosses out of these. I haven't pollinated anything but the hummingbird moths have certainly been busy. Other than these in bloom I also have L'Amour, Rosenquartz and Dr. Suess blooming. Those two are far on the other side of the yard, but I guess they could have still been pollinated with them. We will see what happens.

So, nice, Brinda, I LOVE your blooms, and I don't know several of your pretties. Freebies are the best, aren't they??!! I love Susanne too, if the freeze doesn't catch her, mine will bloom again before too long. Good to see you!!!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

It certainly is a pink parade Brenda. I am glad that you are having so many pretty blooms now.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Hey Brinda, I am still waiting for my personalized buckets. LOL

You sure have some winners there!!!

What a pale pink parade. LOL. Don't you hate how they get so light. I have tons of seedlings blooming for the first time and it does me no good at all.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Brinda, I wasn't knocking your buckets. I want some of them. You can't beat anything free..
Brinda, did Kell order Pink buckets? LOL

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

LOL Ada.....I'm working on Kell's PINK BUCKET order!!! Hahahhahaha, I know my son will freak if I 'really' start begging for pink buckets. He doesn't really care for all the brugs...pink or not! LOL

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Brinda, he sounds like my son. He thinks I need to chop them all down. LOL

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Ada, I know my DH will wish these were all in the trash when he starts hauling them all in here in a week or so.

Hi Shirley! How are you feeling, it's great to see you!

And hi Sherry.....I know...long time, no see. I've not been on DG for more than a month or so other than to pop on & lurk a little. Once again, DH and I have sold another (our last) business. We've been tied up the past month finishing everything and now we're trying to redo the house, turning a bedroom into an office. I think I've finally made it.......I'm RETIRED! LOLOL Or at least I think I am. I'm so excited!!! We will see what happens anyway.
