Another possible hardy hybrid Colocasia

Louisville, KY

This is another seedling from my atempts to breed hardy Colocasias. I am not sure of the father of this plant. But it does have the possibility to be hardy to zone 6 and maybe higher. So far the leaves all seem to have this odd pattern on them. Bright neon yellow green in between the veins.

I really like that. Do you have more than one?

I would really like to start some seeds. Other than 'making' my own, are they available anywhere?

Brian, that would be a fantastic "bright spot" in a darker corner of the yard, or combined with lower dark purple under-plantings. Good job!

I just stumbled on this little thread, Brian. That is a most attractive plant, however hardy it is.

Like everyone does, I've got to say, when you have divisions, please share! If it multiplies like my illustris, you'll have a town full in a couple of years!

Best wishes,

Peter

You just let us know when we need to take a field trip to your place! I'm saving my pennies, and moving my pots around to make room for newbies!
