I just dug up my Chianti asiatic lilies that had been in the ground ten years to replant around in my garden. Oh my. Now I have so many -- too many of various sizes.
Anyone like to trade?
CLOSED: Chianti asiatic lilies for trade
I would love to trade. Would you be interested in sunburst coreopsis or allium? I have plants of the first and bulbs of the 2nd.

What kind of allium?
What kind of things are you looking for in return?
Ideally, lilies, asiatic or oriental, but I also like named daylilies, hostas, dahlias and penstemons.
I have tons of hostas, but they are all unnamed and really common. Maybe we can trade sometime in the future. Thanks, Staci
I also would like to trade. I have dahlias and an heirloom tiger lily. I also have some mineature roses and bearded tongue pensteman
Oh, I just love dahlias! You sent me some last spring that had worn out your eyes looking for theirs. LOL. Now I'm hooked. I was successful with Show-N-Tell, Wanda's Capella and CindyQ from you.
Absolutely lov 'em. What would you have to trade now?
I have lots of nice ones...I think...assuming they are doing their job and making tubers. Some of my favorites are Elma Elizabeth (Huge and Hot Pink), Cactus Jane (Big Hot Pink Cactus), Erik J. (Big Magenta Red with Yellow Center), Niki K, (Big Red), Lollipop (mini red), Magic Moment (Big White with pink tint), Sweet Dreams (Pretty Pastel Pink), and Islander (Sort of a neon orange/red/yellow). They should be ready to dig in about 2 weeks. It is still not cold here and they are still blooming. I'd be too sad to dig them so early. I'm glad the tubers I sent this spring bloomed nicely for you. If you don't want to wait 2 weeks then I only have Cactus Jane for trade right now. I am fine with you holding on to your lilies until the end of the month and us trade then....if that suits you.
Robin --
The Elma Elizabeth, Magic Moment, Sweet Dreams and Islander all sound good to me. I think an equal trade of a large bulb for a tuber would be fair, but let me know what you think. My large bulbs are the same size as the ones I have gotten from The Lily Nook and The Lily Garden this fall. I'll set some aside for you. Let me know what you have to trade when you dig them up.
Jolene
I have purple drumstick allium.
Jacqueline --
Your allium would be fine. Bulb for bulb might be a good trade. Are your bulbs similar in size to one I might buy from a bulb store?
Hi Jolene: I have my calendar marked to dig and send your tubers to you at the end of the month. It is supposed to get in the 40's here Sunday night so fall is arriving. Bulb for tuber works just fine for me. I'll try to make sure to send you ones with several eyes. Thanks for the trade.
Robin
I have 3 pots of patio dahlias that need a winter home also have a mix of yellow, orange, pink, red asiatics and Stargazer lily Shirley
Shirley --
I have trades set up for all of my largest bulbs. I still have an awful lot of bulbs that are 1 1/2 inch in diameter, though. Each will probably have three or more blooms next summer. If that would be acceptable to you, the Stargazer lily is one I don't have and would love to trade for. Do you know what size the bulb is? I might be interested in your patio dahlias as well. If you don't know their names, could you tell me their color, bloom form and plant size?
Jolene
Hi Jolene,
I checked and have 4 allium bulbs for you. I bought them from Breck's this year. Each is the size of a pearl onion. Shall we both send on Monday? I'll send in a padded envelope unless you request otherwise.
Thanks!
Monday will be fine. I'll trust your judgment on the use of a padded envelope. I'll be sending four bulbs to you. The allium will be a fun change for my garden.
Do you have any asiatic lilys left? I have a few red or pink crimun lilys, purple coneflower, iris , cana lilys. I don't mind if they are small. I'm in no hurry.
cindyy
I still have plenty of the 1 1/2 inch diameter and smaller bulbs left for trade. Your pink crinum lilys sound great. I've never tried them before and would love to. If the red ones are a pinky red, I would be interested in them too. How many do you want to trade?

Jolene, I'd love some to if you still have some. I have tall orange Asiatics with some spots and very large blooms. They were purchased as pink, so I don't know the name. I also have bulblets from tall, white Orientals with prominent gold bands and 1 blooming size bulb extra. Neal.
Neal -- I'd like your orange asiatics and your blooming size white oriental. How many of my 1 to 1 1/2 inch size bulbs do you think would be a fair trade for what you could send me?
Jolene, I have plenty of the orange, so just let me know how many you'd like and we'll go from there. I'll put your name on the Oriental to. Thanks so much. Chianti was on my want list for this fall, but since it looks more like Santa's list, I can never afford everything on it!
Neal.
Jolene, I don't have anything to trade yet. Would you consider postage payment?
Neal -- I'll put your Chianti bulbs in the mail to you tomorrow. If your orange lily bulbs are blooming size, please send me three. Those plus the white oriental I think will be a fair trade.
Jolene
Posie4U - I've got to get my trades out and then recheck what I have left. I'll get back to you soon.
Great Jolene. I'll get those out this morning. Thanks a bunch, Neal.
