Yep,it's not on my list of favorite things to do!
But they said the rains were coming,and I didn't want the soil to get wet,since I quit watering a week or so ago.

Niki,that is alocasia mac,also know as persian palm.
Bamboo is about 25 to 30 ft tall!!!
