Thank you so very much! I love her too. I'm hoping next year to figure out how to get seeds or seedlings from it. This was it's first true year in the ground (bought it last year at Home Depot) so I wanted to leave it alone for a year to do some research on how to get seeds/seedlings. Thank you so much for the compliment.

No, it is hardy here in Maine....zone 5. It is a nice shrub. Here is a picture of the actual shrub (not the best shot).

It's the partial doubling that's interesting to me in your plant. None of the other pictures of Blue Bird have any petals inside the main flower.

I'd love to trade for seeds to try. I'm no good with rooting cuttings from woody plants.

O I would LOVE ONE OF THESE!! I saw a bluebird online at wayside gardens but they were sold out and I've not been able to find it since. And I've NEVER. Seen it in a double!!
