I went around my garden today and took stock of the colchicums. This is 'Lilac Wonder'

Beautiful Todd. I planted some a few years ago but all but one disappeared. I better go look to see if it is blooming. On the other hand a neighbor has some that have expanded into a huge area - gorgeous!

Todd - do you have a favorite source for your lovely colchicums?

My colchicums all came from a local grower who has hundreds and often sells them on consignment at a local nursery. He got his plants from the UK many years ago. Some he paid over $20 each!...thankfully he sells the divisions for only $2 to $4 each. I noticed our local nursery has 'Waterlily' this year...I plan on heading there today to see if there are any left.
