sloooooow blue satin...

I have a rooted blue satin cutting....have had it all summer...it was about 6 inches tall when I rooted it.

It has a root ball and nice deep green leaves but it will NOT grow. I plan to bring it in the house for winter.

I've used....miracle grow (just a bit)...osmocote..messenger...and a week or so ago a little bone meal.

It looks very healthy but I cant see any new growth....whats wrong !!! :(

I hear they are notoriously slow growers.

Well...it sure seems that way...maybe that is the proof that I have the real thing... ? LOL

I have to agree with their slow growth, I planted half a dozen of them earlier this year along with a few other ones like lavendar chiffon and turn of the century, etc. The blue satin, while it has flowered, seems to be the same size as when I planted and the others have grown nicely.
