Hey, I just picked this one up at a local nursery a couple of days ago in a 4" pot, love that bright foliage!

We surely have them here too. I also want a White one, they have a fragrance. What color are the blooms on these?

Does anyone have a Duranta of the Tiger variety that looks like Sheena' s Gold? How large will the Tiger variety get?

Taylor Creek, FL(Zone 10a)

I have been able to find one in Fort Lauderdale in January. I believe from it's take-off that it too will be 6 to 8 foot tall. The Height on this page http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/112908/index.html
says it also could get 8 to 10 foot.

Dayton, OH

I live in Dayton, Ohio and have been growing this plant in a large pot on my patio. It is getting quite large but has never bloomed or fruited. I have been wintering it indoors. Has anyone had success planting this plant in their garden in my area? Due to its size and large thorns, I would like to treat it as a perennial shrub but do not want to kill it by planting it outside if it will not survive an Ohio winter. Also, do I need to do anything to this plant to make it bloom? How old do they have to be to bloom and/or fruit?

Well I ive in the sunny coast of N. Florida.
This plant has only bloomed 5 or 6 little fronds being planted in the ground since 2006.
I jave 5 other Durantas and all but the ground cover bloom profusely year round. One of my main chores is clipping the weighty berries off.
