So sad!! Next year you will have them flowering faster and get the pods going early!! Did you dig this one to keep in your sun room?

I am getting ready to do that kell, I am taking all but the Main stem off so it will not take up as much room, but I never thought I would feel this bad about cutting flowers and buds off befor they are ready.

You may even get flowers this winter to pollinate!!!! Now that is exciting.

Your not gonna cut off those seed pods are ya? That one on the left doesn't look like it needs much more time. It will continue to ripen if you bring it indoors I understand.

OH NO I sure am not going to cut those off, I have 4 plants in the house now with a total of 10 seed pods, I am keeping my fingers crossed that they all mature, this M & H was pollinated with Isobella.

Ive got the same problem..my first year with seed pods on my brugs and alot more blooms coming..the weather is suppose to start getting into the 60s tomorrow with lows in the 40s...I live closer to the big lake so it wont get that low but it scares me to think about my babies out there...chop, chop coming up...Judy

they say our daytime will get down in the 40s this weekend, so it is that time

Im up above you so its getting scarey..I havent any idea where IM putting mine since we are mudding the breezeway where Ive put them last year....it needs to be sanded and mudded one more time and painted..its going to be done as fast as I can slap the paint on and get the brugs in....I think tomorrow when I get home from work I will get containers and put cuttings in them for now...good luck with the seed pods...Judy

Don't forget too that some white seeds from a pod might still germinate! If you plant them right away you could still get a few of them to grow. What's to lose but a bit of dirt and water? You might have something special come of it!

So sorry to those of you having to winterize already :(
It's been a poor year for brugs all over, and now it's time for many to put them to sleep!!!

Good luck to us all for a better year in 2006!!

Gosh, 2006, what a thought. I am so freaked Christmas will be here in a second. I still have spring bulbs I have not had time to plant. I am sure they are half dead by now!!
