Some sort of bug is eating my plant...what can i do??

I heard that you can mix (I think) alcahol and water and spray that on there..but i dont remember the exact measurements them...Is there anything else that would do. This or These little bugs are having a feast with my plant...dont know the name of it but will take a pic and post it later...
