Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

This is a cross of Susie's. I love the small yellow blooms. It's a good bloomer and smells so good.

Very nice Ada. I like them both for different reasons. The second one has such a neat shape with the tendrils pointing backwards. I am trying to remember if any other brugs do this.

The first one has the wide open look I love.

You guys are so good!!

Funny, today I found one of Susie's blooming too. It was a Rosamond X Georgia Peach. I didn't even know I had it growing.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I love that first one, it's so pretty. Kell, how did the RM X GP turn out?

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Both are very pretty, I especially like the first one. It's really loaded with blooms and I like the ones that look outward.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

They're both beautiful, but I like the 1st picture. The blooms are so sweet and petite!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Hard to really evaluate the color this late in the season, Susie. It has the shape of GP but is pendant. Did you have others of this cross bloom? Or any other X GP crosses?

Wow, that one is pretty too, Kell. Susie did a good job.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

So many pretty ones. That's a beauty.

Knoxville, TN

A great big congratulations to Ada and Susie! It is such a happy color and so nice to see a yellow Brug for a change.

Kell and Susies' Brug is a beauty as well. It is a nice fall color.

You ladies certainly do good work!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

I tried to get pollen from the small yellow blooms but they're dry. I did dab some Tiara pollen on one of them. Hope it takes.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

I love the looks of the 1st one. WTG Ada and Susie!!

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Those are beautiful seedlings, you guys work well together, congrats!!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

To tell the truth, I am not very impressed with the seedling I posted. I will hold it over just in case the color is really purple. LOL. But I bet by next year this time it is dead. I really like Ada's much more.

OH so many brugs and so little time. A double with that shape of the first would be so great, Ada. I didn't know you had Tiara. Can you post a pic?? And refresh my memory, where did Tiara come from??

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

I love the first one because it's small, with abundant flowers and smells good. I would love one of those!!! Kell, I have one of yours, LA x EP, seed planted
2/22/05 and it is at least 10 feet and it has giant pods and the largest is beginning to open, I cannot wait!!!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Kell, this is a Tiara bloom.

Very pretty Ada. THANKS!! I wonder if I have that one. I know I had it. I never look at tags unless they are blooming.

Sherry, I can't wait to see what you get. Sounds like a monster!

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

Ada the tiara is very pretty!

Wow Sherry, I can't wait to see yours bloom too sounds so fascinating!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Ada.......you must be in heaven with all those lovely blooms. I really like the first cross of Susie and your Tiara is so pretty. I know I had this at one time but like Kell......lol.....I am not sure if I still have it. My life has to get better organized and soon!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Frannie, my life sure isn't organized. Like kell, if it has blooms sometimes i look at the names especially if i like the blooms. I do try to check myt seedlings.

Thanks, Laurrie. i wish she would change her colors but the nights are probably too cool.

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

Ada, I really like it, but does it not drop the inner skirt any more than that? just curious, I think it's sharp!
So what color is it supposed to change to, and if you brought inside do you think colors would darken any?

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Laurrie, some of the blooms will drop their skirt and others won't. Here's a pic you can look at:

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

Oh Thanks Ada, didn't think to look it up. I see what you mean, some drop and some don't, thanks.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

OMG! I have Tiara and she is close to blooming, thanks Ada!! I hope mine is as pretty as yours - I really like her because she takes full southern, afternoon sun without wilting, a really nice brug.

Thanks Ohio and Kell!! Strong, 25 mph winds today and tonight. She is/was 10 feet tall but the winds have really knocked her around, thank goodness she is staked but she has outgrown her stake. I started to bungee her but I was afraid I'd make it worse. Here she is before the wind. The Upees are maybe 3 feet tall and the brug to the right is a litter sister (she has already bloomed) to 10ft, and is about 3 1/2 feet tall, and look how close they are planted, Mutt and Jeff.

Sherry, you're going to love her blooms and the scent.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Hot Doggies, Ada!!! I love the fragrant ones, I'm really excited, but that wind has not died down, so I'm holding my breath...thanks again!!!

ALL So Beatiful Ada!! I really enjoy the second picture. I can only imagine how it looks loaded with blooms.
Sherry, I sure hope those winds don't take their toll on those tall brugs you have. Best of luck!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Sherry, we having a good bit of wind and it's raining like crazy. We really needed some rain. It's either feast or famine.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Thanks, Kin. It's a beauty and so tall I have to have a ladder to get to the blooms.. LOL

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Tank, Kin, that wind is even whipping the short ones, and it's supposed to continue. I'll be happy no matter how many blossoms I get, even if just a few remain, whew!!

You are so right Ada Feast or Famine!
We finally got our rains back and lucky for us no big winds like you are having. That wind sure can ruin a beautiful shape to a brug! The rain was welcome after a dry summer.
Sorry I had to laugh a bit Ada....
I could see you with your BRUG Ladder going from tree to tree enjoying the blooms up close.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh Sherry, she is so tall. A great standard in the making.

I hope she does not snap off. Good luck! You too Ada, I hope the wind dies down for you guys.

Hi Kin, so good to see you posting again!!

Hi Kell.. Thanks!!
I'm just slow as molasses. Not much longer and there will be plenty of time to spend here at Dave's. Long winter with nothing better to do inside but be on DG!!! LOL

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Kin, I don't climb the ladder for too many Brugs. Miss Graceful here may end up on her bottom at the bottom of the ladder. LOL
