I got on line through tha use of a power plant.
Got electric last Friday in tha afternoon 'bout 5. Only out 7 days. (seven years)
Those still out, I felt some of your pain!

First shows how we handled tha heat. (affected as it were) Ugly, we got!
Who said 100 plus degree heat! Twas hotter than Hades lol, well, got close!

This requires an expert to explain it all!
There was a train wreck jus before tha storm.
Hwy, 59 was closed for 2 days. Barge got loose.
Danger to tha bridge over tha Trinty river

Lots of tired people spend many more hours of extra driving.
Locals that lived a few miles took much time ta get home.

Got a one hour evac notice. Dam might go.
They're dropping tha level to repair it.
Houston uses Livingston lake for one of their water supplies.

Very proud of responses to these emergencies.
I live on this hwy which is the busiest outside of an interstate.
So quiet after it closed, then hundreds if not thousands of trucks and equipment came by.

Hope ya like my expert.
It was their house where we went.
Haha, they left. Had tha house to ourselfs!

General damage!
Customer came by & commented, lost part of ya front did ya.
Friends are delightful!

Some weren't so lucky!
Several houses can't be repaired near here.
Check links to FEMA and other info......

We had some fatalities.
A few. One child.
Didn't know them!

One friend, lives less than 5 miles from me.
No lights.

There are thousands in all kinds of trouble.
Some no food, some no water, ice is a forgotten dream.

Not trying ta be morbid!
Displaced are miserable.
Security is in your own hands!

In my, our case we are not jus good but great!
Looks like 'hel around here but my water well is ok.
I got blue tarps on some of my stuff.
Got a loss on about one thousand pounds of denim materal (14 once new)
But
There is about 3M pounds good!

A 24X40 bldn has water in tha floor.
Thought I had a reason to keep or even like that stuff.
Gosh, such a relief to dump some ???stuff!
