I would love to share these with whoever would like them.... If you send me a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) I will drop a seed head in the envelope and send it back... as you all know sorting the seeds from the chaff (sp) takes ALOT of time so I'm going to drop it all in and you'll have to sort.... I'd love to spend the time to do this step for you but I just don't have the time and I didn't see any sense in doing a bunch of preparation if no one was interested.....
Seed heads look like a coneflower seed head
My plants grew anywhere from 2 ft to over 6 ft and the Monarch butterflies absolutely loved these ......
I am in the addy exchange but I'll put it here because I know how slow dialup can be : - )

CLOSED: Torch Tithonia - Mexican Sunflower
Found this link, sounds great and it should fit my tropical colored garden perfectly so I would love to try it! Sending envelope today if you are in the address exchange.
http://www.anniesannuals.com/signs/t%20-%20u/tithonia_rotundifolia_TT.htm
Found your address, I am putting a bubble envelope in the mail, with an address label and stamps and I am taping it shut so you can reuse it with the peel off seal.
Thanks again!

Oh they look just ever so great. I'd like one offer, please.
But is a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) big enough for a flower head?
Please let me know and I'll get it out in Tuesdays mail.
Calif_Sue
Great link - will really love these!
I'll pick it apart so there should be plenty of room..... I just don't have time to sort it all out.....
and yes it is a very beautiful and prolific bloomer......

Valerie, may I send you a SASBE for one of your Titonia seed head?
CountryBumkin - YES ....
Thanks vs71099
Envelope will go out today!
Thanks again.
semesterke
I would love to have some of these I will get the sasbe into the
mail tomorrow if they are still available plmk Thanks alot Diane
katbow7 - Yes
Please include me. How much stamps should I put on the envelope? Would a 5x7 bubble envelope be big enough? I'm kinda new at this.
Thanks for the great offer.
Quyen,
I think just a SASE is enough ..... these are not delicate / rare seeds..... they are like coneflower seeds - I think they are pretty tough ....
I would love some for a sase...Please let me know if you still have enough ! Thanks.
I have plenty Mare_CC
Valarie,
I would love some for a sase. Please let me know.
Thanks Pam
Hi this will be my first seed exchange! (**!!#!!**) I checked and these will go in my zone in my plans and everything. Now what do I do? Just a regular SASE or do you need extra stamps or bubble wrap or what? Thanks awfully,
Carrie
if you have any left, i would love to be included!
thanks,
Tia
I'd love some if you have any left.
Thanks!
Would love some of you have any left. Thanks
I'd like to try these sunflowers too. Let me know if you have extras and I'll get my sasbe off. Thanks {:>)
Brenda
Carrie, just send a SASE... these are pretty tough seeds I don't think they need any bubble wrap or extra TLC....... I'm just stripping the seed head into an envelope..... nothing fancy because these guys are like the coneflowers and I've never figured out an easy and quick way to harvest seeds from them...... and I'm short on time around the garden trying to beat the first frost .......
Check the first entry for your name.... it isn't a matter of not having seeds.... just a matter of making sure I see your post or get your envelope....... thanks for letting me share.... V
I will send out my SASBE today. Thanks so much. Pam
I would love some. Thank you, Joan
If you have any left I'll try to get an sasbe to you as quick as i can...thanks, mark
Got mine today, Thanks so much.
Did I really send you my sheet of stamps? LOL, I was looking all ove for them! Thanks for returning them.
Calif_Sue... Yes ... you sent quite the package and all your stamps..... LOL .....
mark333 I'll get you on the list
So Sorry, vs, we have run Out of STAMPS..... I have both envelopes addressed and ready, but no stamps as yet. DH and I have both had horrible colds. As long as I'm still on the list.
xxx Carrie
just get over that cold...... I'll have seeds for awhile ......
Would love some! Do these reseed in the garden, or will I need to get the seed heads and spread them myself? Thanks so much for the offer.
JanetS
JanetS, this is my first year so I'm not sure..... I see new shoots coming up and in your zone they may.... as for my zone 5 - I'll have to see if they come back next year..... When I purchased them they were classified as an annual...... I'll get you on the list ..... they put out TONS of seeds.
VS71099, I just look it up and they are zone 9. Full sun and cut back hard after blooming and they will bloom again. Like dry soil but lot of water.
Valarie:
Got mine back today,
Thanks so much for sharing.
semesterke
I still have some ....
still hoping someone will bring stamps home for me......
carrie, why don't you purchase stamps online and have your mailman deliver them?
http://shop.usps.com/cgi-bin/vsbv/postal_store_non_ssl/home.jsp
Good idea Sue, but I think we're going out today. I can get 'em at the ATM or the grocery store or anywhere. [I don't drive... : ( ]
xxx Carrie
! Got stamps!!!!

hi!
i mailed out my envelope on 10/8 and i was just curious as to whether you had received it. the mail service over by me is strange sometimes and i have had trouble in the past. just want to be sure that it got to you.
thanks,
Tia
mysticmoonshine, I think the mail must be running behind. My SASBE was sent out on 10/6 and have not heard back yet if she received it.
Thanks Pam
