Hoya gigantangensis bloomed!

Mesa, AZ(Zone 9a)

This is fast becoming one of my favorite hoyas! I am a leaf person and I love the succulent leaves on this one, plus the flowa is yellow, my fave color. It has a light citrus smell to it.

Blessings,
Awanda

Does its name mean it's the largest hoya?

That one is on my list!!! And, why are you holding out on me....huh...huh!!!!!? lol

I think, according to Ted Green, it is named after a town in the Philippines where it was found...

Awanda .....BEAUTIFUL blooms and leaves! Is that the entire plant? It doesn't look very big to be blooming. Do hoyas bloom when they are smaller?

Betsyj it's not a very large plant. I brought it as a cutting in May of this year. Gee it must be this Arizona weather:-). Hoyas are like cats, they do what they want, when they want:-)
