Can someone ID this Butterfly?

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

This guy showed up in the yard today flying from flower to flower.
It's one that DH and I have not seen before.
When flying in the sun the blue really stood out and it was beautiful to watch.

This shows the underside of the wings. Even it's body was colorful.

What a lovely butterfly.! It is the Pipevine Swallowtail (Battus philenor) http://www.npwrc.usgs.gov/resource/distr/lepid/bflyusa/usa/mor692.htm

They are beautiful with their wings open. I have one that visits my yard but I rarely get to see all that blue.

Thanks so much kennedyh. It's great to find out what it is.
konkreteblonde I am amazed that with all the time DH and I spend outside in the summer that we have never seen any before. I guess today was our lucky day. :)
You're right, they are just beautiful with open wings.

Oh my gosh, that is gorgeous. I can't wait to find out if I'll have some of those beauties visiting. I need to hunt down some aristolochia fimbriata to bribe them on in to my yard :)

I don't have Pipevine either, but there must be some around somewhere because they visit me. Just have some nectar for them. Zinnias never fail to attract everything!
