Has anyone ever grown Chinese Water Chestnuts? What was your experience with them? I live in zone 6 and hope to grow some with 6 and 7 year old children at a public school that has a pond.
The plan is to harvest them and let the kids enjoy them in some Chinese food.
I know Lilypons has them for around $7; however, I'd be open to trading for some. I haven't got my lists up yet. D-mail me if you are interested in trading.
