A family went off and let 3 great danes, another small mixed breed, and a daschund and around 8 chickens before Hurricane Rita and now NOT going to return. Someone the man worked with came to get stuff like kids bikes and etc as he was told by the creep he could have whatever as they would not be returning. Of course they don't want the dogs.
My friend and I have called everywhere and unless we can bring them in no one will rescue them. My friend is doing her best to feed them. Sheriffs dept said shoot them, my friends husband told them that was their job. We have called TV news, SPCA, humane society, rescue leagues, you name it. They are nice dogs.
I can not take on all those. No fence DH says no to another daschund. If anyone knows of somewhere let me know. I am going to try to get pictures tomorrow.
Pray for these babies. This is so sad.
Those people need shot not the dogs.
