Flowering dieffenbachia

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Have had this one for about 2 years and is now blooming for the first time, but never seen one with 4 blooms coming out of the same leaf axle,in different stages of buds and blooms.
Is this normal?

Wow, I never realized they bloomed either! Hope mine does sometime!

Thanks,I hope it does too!

Mine has also done that. I think that a combination of maturity, good light and ample fertilizer prompts the flowering. The blooms get much larger, and hang down as they grow out. They are entertaining for several weeks!

Thanks Peter,
I thought I might of had something special with 4 blooms appearing at once from the same leaf axle, now I know thats is just standard policy.

standard, but cool!
