Hibiscus manihot is a relative of Okra, and the leaves are edible. It is perennial, root hardy, and will bloom from seed the first year. What more could you ask?
The Lovely Hibiscus Manihot.
A few seeds?
Hey you asked!
That is a beautiful hibiscus. That center of the flower is stunning! I always have to go to the Dallas area to find any good hibiscus. If you do have any seeds to spare, I'll send you a SASE.
That is gorgeous! I refrain from eating my plants tho. Do you have seeds, or was that just some "FYI"?
FYI I think - but looks stunning in person to.
I was fortunate to see this flower today and it is absolutely magnificent! no seeds for me ... maybe a propagation? ;)
Sylvia
Syliva you can take cutting of that Oleander now - and anything else you want!
I KNOW THATS RIGHT! ...the next time I go to the bank I am taking my Friskars! lol Actually I think I will keep them in the car. lol btw Mitch I just discovered there's a red Orleander at Ojeda's on Maple. ;)
btw did anyone see me with my Friskars today? I thought I had them with me....oh boy...I am tired...going to bed now.
Oh no...Mitch was trying to find the owner of a pair of Fiskar's pruners today. I thought he was giving away gardening tools. lol
Hello Guys, I will have seeds or plants for all I promise.
Josephine.
Hi all! I see the mystery is solved! Sylvia, you must have been making your first trip to the car when Mitch was asking around about the pruners.
Sheila
