I have lots of fresh Canna 'warscewiczii' seeds. This is a species canna which grows quickly from seed and it is highly resistant to leaf rollers. Be happy to send a supply for postage.

Naien, I see your address is in the exchange. Will be happy to send seeds for postage. You can send the postage when you see the amount.
I bought my original plant from Yucca Do Nursery in TX. For some reason I can't open their web site today so I can post the link but it is www.yuccado.com. You can see the warscewiczii there.

Hi Naien: I have an heirloom canna that may be this but I don't know for sure. Looks like it. http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/9693/

It is from one of the old gardens of our 1899 home. As luck would have it I am planning on digging up a bunch of the tubers as soon as it quits raining. This old canna bugs me because it gets leaf rollers in my area. I also have a few Tropicanna tubers. Interested in a trade?

Wesley Chapel, FL(Zone 9a)

Jackie - I have this one - I was just about to go to work on naming it. I also have a Tropicanna.

Interested?

jackieshar - I placed some Limbata seeds in a pot of damp peat & they sat there for 3 months. Then I dug them out & used a metal file to scrape the seed coat, & dipped them in nearly hot water for a minute. I had sprouts within a week - 100% germination. They were easy to grow - you just have to scrape them really well! I do not know if the hot water really made a difference or not.
