Our Temp. got down to 37 last night and they say it will be the same tonight, get to 60 on Sunday then get colder again, I can't stand it but my beautifull M&H has got to be cut down, also the rest of Rosa Traum, Golden Yellow, Isabella and Snow Cone so I will have cuttings for anyone that wants them, I will post again when I know how many I will have, also other kinds as well.
And I thought raising Brugs always made you happy. WHAAAAAAAAA

Doris-
can you dig your M&H up? Seems that one is not too large to be potted and brought in for the winter...
The nurseries around here all have "nursery pot graveyards" of all sorts of sizes of old pots...you could probably ask your local mom n pop nursery for some large pots for free...

seedpicker nice thought but M&H is realy big, and short, I am going to try and cut some outer branches, they have all Yd and all have buds, and blooms on. then see if I can pot the mail trunk.
We have NO nurseries around here, closest one is 30 miles away, and I am running out of room, I never dreamed I would have so many Brugs, my son thinks I am nuts LOL
I would love M&H ,Snow Cone ,Rosa Traum, Golden Yellow
I feel for you, we could use some cool weather here but its in the 90's again.

kareoke,
I would love M & H and Snow Cone. I wil gladly send postage. I can understand your plight. Last year, I was running around trying to get my husband to finish setting up the greenhouse so I could move my potted citrus collection. I hope you get to salvage some large cuttings for next year.

Oh you must dig this one up, Doris. I dig up some of mine in the fall from my growing gardens. they do great, do not even skip a beat. I haven't even cut back their canopy, but if you are taking a small rootball, just trim the canopy back to a few nodes if you want or even go less severe. I would bet you it would do great. And if you do not cut it too far back, I bet you get blooms this winter in your new sunroom!
I will hold your hand. So sad.
Doris, I know I would cry if I had to cut down a brug that beautiful.
Ruth
