I have taken a few pics of my front and back yard flower beds. I have lived here for two years and spent lot's of time trying to transform my yard into a tropical sort of look. We ripped out lots of junipers to make room for these bigger leafed plants. Here is some pics of my front yard

Impressive! Do you realize how much pain you are inflicting upon the other Canadian gardeners outside coastal BC? Banana's no less!
LOL, I recognize a few of those plants. Your last name wouldn't be Squires would it?
Liz in North Van.
Cindy that's beautiful, I bet it's a lovely stroll in the evening, with all those great scents. Are you up for a tour Saturday mid day? We're on our way back up island for a couple of days. I'll send a D-mail to you.
Linda
Hi Liz, yes you have the name right it is I. Linda, unfortunately I work on Saturday from 9:30 till 6. So I won't be around during the day. If you can come after that would be fine. I am also working till 9 tonight
augh, work sure takes away from my fun.
Cindy
Cindy you do sure have a lovely collection of plants. Love that bench you made. Thanks for giving as a peek at your world.
Jeanne, D-mail coming you way.
Absolutely beautiful Cindy. I love what you have done in the front - very distinctive.

Cindy I agree with Todd !! I am looking at my bare trees and frost done in plants and then back to your photos. You are sooooo lucky to have that wonderfull season to weave your magic in the garden. Thankyou for sharing.
Ann
I really feel blessed living here on the island. I gardened lots in Winnipeg, and then Calgary before moving here. Calgary with the chinooks and short growing season can be a challenge. It often seemed when I tried to plant more exotic things they would just get going and then the season would be over. I was amazed how long I could garden the first year we were here.I work quite a bit, and my yard is really my retreat from the world. My goal for next summer is to get a sprinkler sysytem installed and irrigation for all the pots to cut down on some of my work.If any one has any recomendations about sprinklers let me know.
Cindy
Lovely Cindy - my garden is now mostly inside. A few more to rescue as they say this moisture will be of the white type tonite and tomorrow. (with Winnipeg looking for a high of 24 tomorrow; what's up with that??)
Cindy, thanks for sharing the views of your garden.
I enjoyed it very much.
Joan
Cindy, great pictures of your plants and yard! Luv your cacti/succulent garden.

Very, very, very beautiful. Thanks for the tour.
What a wonderful garden - I think we have a very talented member here - has anyone seen her posting in the hypertufa forum ? I think we need a visit to this garden, Linda, Glenda LOL.
Heather
I would be happy to have visitors to my garden, of course as it is the end of the season it isn't looking as wonderful as it might other times of the year. I do a lot of " garden art" . I enjoy creating unique items for my yard.I will try and take a few more pics of some other areas and post them on my days off.
Cindy
