I have completed my first season of brugs with nary a bloom. The night time temps are dipping into the upper 40's now and then, but they are mostly in the 50's. All of mine are in pots. I need guidance here.
When do I take my brugs in? How much do I prune my plants?
Too bad. Next year will be the charm for you, I hope. I will let someone in your zone give you guidance.
I will say I leave lots of mine outside all winter and it dips to the low 30s at times. When it goes to below 32 degrees the leaves get damaged. But they are used to the 40s at night and it doesn't phase them other than make them bloom lighter in color.

you are a zone higher than me, and last year I asked the same question.
I was told to keep them outside as long as possible, until the temps dip down to about 38 is when I pulled mine. (that was grammatical nonsense, but you know what I mean).
As far as pruning goes, this was my first year and I am not the person to talk to about this. If you are thinking about giving cuttings, ask Kell if she saved the website I gave from my old computer but don't have access to anymore without it. If she has it, I'd like it again too. It has alot of very useful information on it, and isn't a club.
