I'm trying to find out if I need to dig this up or not. I'd prefer not but I don't want to lose it. Plantfiles lists it as hardy to zone 6. Logee's where I bought it last year now says zone 10 but originally stated zone 6 or 7. Every site I go to has a different answer - anyone know just how much cold it can take ???

Question -Passiflora 'Purple Haze'
Chris, do you get snow there? If so, that would kill the Purple Haze. Mine has taken a very slight freeze, but probably won't take much more than that. I don't think it will make it in zone 5b without winter protection.

Thanks for your reply. I would have mulched it but if it can only take a slight freeze I guess I'd better go dig it up and move it inside with the rest of my tender tropicals. It gets oh so cold here and we're already past our first frost date. Thanks again, I wouldn't have wanted to lose it. :)
