This is M & H that I have in a pot, the seedpods are not growing as much as the stem, at this rate they will be on the ground befor they are ripe.

Crazy seedpods
Those are the strangest pods I've ever seen. How old are they?
Too funny, Doris. I just LOVE that look. I hope you take pics as they grow. I am laughing. I may grow this one just for those pods though the show it puts on is reason enough.
the pods are four weeks old, long way to go yet, I may have to throw them around Momma's neck.
How long are those guys?
I went out and measured, the pod is 31/2" the stem is 10"
Doris were the flower stems that long or did they elongate after the flowers fell off? :-)
Eclipse, the flowers are difinately long but the stem has frown at least 2" since the flower dropped off. I have other buds on differen Brugs but they are close to the main stem and have not grown since the flower dropped.
That is so funny, I love it!!! Is that ordinary to a particular brug or is it just one of those things that happen??
Had to come back to see this again. I want to know also, does this happen with all the pods on all the M & Hs? Or is Doris the only one with the special LONG touch. LOL I just love that look.
Wow, Doris. My pods on M&H never looked like yours. LOL
Really Ada! I bet Doris is pulling on them every morning and stretching them out. LOL
LOL......these are definitely the strangest I have ever seen.
Those ARE funny looking seedpods - and like to gator or something.
Hang on to these strange ones - who knows, maybe they might be something special! :)
too interesting, I know the stems are relatively long on M & H, but that is cool seeing what the pods are doing!
I laugh every time I go outside, I just hope they hold on long enough to get ripe, I may have to bring the pot inside as it has been in the low 40s last two nights, and I don't want the wind to knock them off.
I think they are confused, the stem is growing instead of the seed pod LOL
They are worth it, Doris, whatever you have to do to help them out, they make me laugh out loud every time I pull up the thread...
amazing.
