That is an absolutely gorgeous picture. I love the way the water droplets are on it and some of the flowers haven't quite opened yet. Good job on the hoya AND the picture.

Congrats! How exciting, I still technically haven't had my "own" first bloom. But I have bought ones with flower buds! I know that feels fantastic. I can imagine how yours must feel!

I hope you know you will be hooked on Hoyas with that first bloom! It is very pretty!!!

Yes, I'm convinced that there are subliminal messages that come out from hoya flowers that say, "get MORE of my kind, I'm lonely"....GET MORE, GET MORE!!"

It's beautiful. Congratulations on your first blooms. I haven't had any yet but I'm hoping I'll have some one day. What kind is it?

No idea. Someone sent me a cutting a couple of years ago.

rylaff, can you send more photos? of the leaves? of the plant? of the flowers more opened? We could help you ID it more easily that way!

Hi Rylaff! I'm so jealous.........it's so-o-o pretty. How old is it? Couple of years? My cuttings are about 2 yrs old and I'm sure hoping it will bloom one day. It has really taken off this summer with size so maybe by next summer it will bloom. I'm right down the road from you so keep me posted when you hear of things going on. Thanks! Barbara

Great flower = happy plant.

I have a Krinkle 8 that bloomed like a trooper the first year. Now it is 4 years old, 6' long, 4' wide and no blooms. Go figger!!!

Congratulations!

Barbara, Yes it is a couple of years old. Someone sent it to me. This is the first time it has bloomed. I have it out on the porch. In winter, I bring it in and keep it near a window. It is my first hoya and I am amazed how trouble free they are.
