too much shade for my Rhopalostylis baueri?

I planted him in an area that really only gets sun in the late afternoon. I think this side of the house faces WNW. Is this spot all right, or should I move him somewhere sunnier?

I have seen these grown in much deeper shade than that and do very well. I usually worry more about too little shade with this palm. IN the wild these grow in dense forested areas sometimes without any direct sunlight until quite large
