Does anyone have any water plants they would be willing to trade in exchange for an adenium seedling about 5-6" tall?
Trade
Man, I've had some mixed luck with that plant, but I would be interested in giving it a try once again! :o). I have most of my aquatic plants listed on my trade list (I think ... I'll go double-check that here shortly). Let me know if there's anything of interest to you!
Bogweed,
I think it is too hot for them here that is why I am going to start trading them.
My mature adeniums are doing great though. I will take a look at your trade list.
By the way bogweed, take a look at my thread on closed century plants :) on the trading forum.
Buck,
Mystery solved.
It seems that the PO prefers you be called "Mr. Buckley Tuth".
So sir (I'm bowing) I am off to the PO to mail your box.
Very good, fine lady! :o)
I applaud you on your diligence and tenacity. Were I able, I would knight thee as sure as .. uh ... something really formal sounding, Yes, Yes!
Sir Buck,
The box is swimming to PR as we speak.
:)
Thanks a million, most excellent lady!
knotimpaired----OMG!! I didn't know what I have is an adenium!! I bought it for $3 this Summer from a local guy who runs an online nursery business. It has not flowered yet. What color flowers do yours have?? I made the mistake right off of bringing it in the house. With the ac on it promptly lost all it leaves!! I took it back outside and the yall grew back so obviously it doens't care for cold!! But you say it doesn't like too hot either? hmmmm Any other tips for growing these successfully?? Thanks!! Bonnie
Bonnie,
Most adeniums have pink leaves. They are called Desert Rose. I have some that are getting ready to bloom so when they do I will post a photo.
They do like heat, don't get me wrong. I made the mistake of leaving the seedling tray on a aluminum folding table like a dummy so the leaves were starting to get a little yellow.
I haev traded some but relanted the rest in some larger pots just this morning.
K
