I got this from a friend that got it from another friend. I don't believe she ever saw it bloom. The blooms on this are definately peach. The tag says Ecuador Pink but I don't think so. Any clues or should I just enjoy the pretty peach brug?
Don't think this is Ecuador Pink?
Michele, It is not Ecuador Pink, that we know. It does look a lot like Versicolor Peach though.
I'd guess VP...is it fragrant, VP smells like heaven.
Thank you David. Would a pic of a leaf or size of leaf or bloom help with an ID? I can leave it nameless and live but if it has a name, I would like to fix it.
I just went out and smelled a whole bunch of them. LOL It does not smell like Golden Lady, Dr. Seuss, Tequilla Sunrise or some of my others. It has a different smell. I usually either say they smell like hand lotion or vanilla and lemons. That one doesn't really smell like either, but most like a hand lotion.
I think VP smells 'different', and I love her smell. If you like fragrances, I hope that's who showed up in your garden...
OH, I definately love the fragrance of the flowers! I have a bunch of Brugs blooming, some odd late Wisteria blooms and moonflower vine to name a few. I love to go in the back yard at night. I have a couple of big white Datura blooming out front that smell wonderful too. I love breezy nights when the scents come in the windows. :)
Michele, that is beautiful.
Thank you Ruth! I have had tons of blooms this year and I think it was due to getting them out into the greenhouse really early. I also wonder if the Messenger helped. Do you grow brugs?
This us my first yr to grow brugs and I'm hooked. LOL
Ruth
It's easy to get hooked with a picture like that. I love the color Michelle and those are lovely pictures of it.
Dott
Thanks ladies. :)
I was sort of glad it wasn't pink. I have other pink ones and only one other peach.
Ruth, I think I owe you a thing or two if you want more. LOL
