I think this shape is so curvaceous. I am getting more into shapes now than color. Though this one gets to be a much pinker so she satisfies all. Hey a name, Satisfaction. LOL
Late last night I fell in love again.....
I'm completely bloomless at the moment - just some immature buds, so I guess that means:
I can't get no,no, no no, Satisfaction, no, no, no, (Sing it Mick!)
I love it....great idea for a name too! All your pics of your brugs are beautiful. I'm new at growing brugs...but I just love seeing your posts of your brugs. Thanks for sharing.
Which one is that Kell? I love the low calyx and the straight corella tube.
I like this one too :) You grow some beauties!
It's getting darker Kell, what a beauty.
I have been more into shape lately than color, guess that's good as many of the babies I have been growing out have been white, RATS!
I do like the Versi Color shape.
I have a Versicolor peach X Equador pink blossom I have been waiting (sort of patiently) for & wouldn't you guess....another white one, but a pretty shape tho. Keep up the good work, Kell! Bj
Wow man, a Go-Go girl!!
Wow, she's beautiful, kell. All your's are. They must love California.
She is loaded too with blooms. I hope some of my crosses take.
Everyone loves California Ada. Move on out!!! You would go nuts here. Might die of bliss on day 1.
Bj, do not be discouraged. I get lots of whites too!! In fact sometimes the whites bloom so much better than the colored ones. Ugly ones bloom a lot too, I notice. If you have a good shape, cross it back to a colored one that has 2 colored parents. Might increase your chances for a colored baby.
I really like nice white ones. If I had the room, and didn't have so many other kinds of plants I love, I would plant tall white brug trees all around my porch. I love seeing them shimmer in the night.
Here is ugly white that loves to bloom. It is growing on my rented brug plots. I wish my best ones would look like this.
why is that one ugly?????
Another girly girl. But I am with vossner. Why is that poor white ugly? I certainly is doing its best to entertain.
Well, she sure loves to bloom, Kell.
Kell, I wish I had an 'ugly' one like yours, she has fat trunks, her shape is pleasing and she's a bloomer. Yep, I'd love an ugly one like that, lol!!
Ok, maybe not ugly but a plain Jane. She has no Zsa Zsa Zsu. No curves, no recurve, no flounce, no flit. She is no blonde!! LOL. Totally lacking any Zsa Zsa Zsu. Though her saving grace is she loves to bloom.
Here is another seedling. This brug blooms doubles and singles, white and apricot. And all her tendrils are curled. This is her second year of blooming and she does not disappoint. I like a complicated bloom. One that entertains with lots of changes.
Oh, my word, that one is outta this world, I LOVE her busy, long tendrils!!!
Good choice of descriptive words for some real entertainment!
Y'all grow some might purty brugs out there! LOL What beautiful skirts on that one! I am feeling a little sorry for that white one. Any kind of blooms rock my world! I can't afford to be picky. :)
I love the pink one Kell, it's got a beautiful shape.
