who'd a thought.....simple and yummy

Des Moines, IA(Zone 5a)

The kids came to dinner this week and I needed something easy and quick (and large) to serve as a side side with DH's grilled chicken breasts, so I was thumbing through a new cook book and here's the recipe:

1 bag of NO-Yolk wide noodles, cooked and drained
1 can FF Carnation evaperated milk
1 envelope dry Good Seasons Italian dressing mix

So simple,so good! We had left overs (guess the kids were'nt thrilled) But I was! For 2 days I had yummy saucy noodles for dinner. I'll be making those again in smaller quantities for DH and I.

We also had micro-waved candied yams, I'd never done that before but it was delish too, I'll be doing more candied yams in the skin in the micro every week now, I used Splenda Brown sugar on top after they were cooked with a few mini marshmellows on top of the Splenda and nuked them again ---- um-um-good!
