I have June everbearing strawberries that I need to thin out they are getting too thick. They have been in my garden for 2 growing seasons now. I will ship bare root with moist newspaper. I have enough for 3 offers of 15 plants (I will probably send more than 15, but mininum of 15 per offer). I will accept a money order or paypal. I will use a flat rate box $7.70 if anyone is interested.

CLOSED: Strawberries for postage
Sorry cannot ship to CA, GA, or FL (or anywhere else that requires any special certification for live plants).
You have Dmail.
Thanks.
I would very much love to have some! I grow everything in the world except fruit. I finally have the space and would be thrilled to start with strawberries. Are you looking for anything?
D-mails sent to both, Thanks!

Brian...will these grow in zone 5?
Deb
Yes they grow in zones 1 to 10. In your zone you need to either pot and protect them or mulch them good to protect the roots. I mulch mine good every fall, and then rake some off in the spring.
I will make another offer in the spring for those who don't want to plant right now, I realize it is getting late to plant for some.
Brian...I'll wait until spring. Afraid they won't be able to get a good start before Missouri winter sets in.
Deb
Gee,
I get plants here in FL all the time from a variety of sources without certification and have never had a problem. Where did you find this information?
Jan...
I may be wrong about FL. I have seen a lot of people say they will not ship to certain states b/c state regulations for importing live plants. Excuse my ignorance on state regulations, I do not claim to be an expert, if someone can clarify please do. I will gladly ship to anyone in the continental US that wants some... but I take no responsibility for delays brought about by any state regulations (if there are any). All I wanted to do was share some plants I had an excess of, not to offend anyone.
Thanks, Brian
Brian,
I would really like to try the strawberries if you have any left. Either now (its 98 in the shade) or in the spring.
Let me know,
Daisy
Hi Brian,
It wasn't meant as criticism or anything. I honestly wanted to know if there really is a regulation because I don't want to get into trouble for getting plants from out of state if there is a regulation against it. This is just the first time I've heard about it and would honestly like to know. I was certainly not offended. I am always open to new information.
