Weight Loss Challange Sept. 25-Oct. 1

Hughesville, MO(Zone 5a)

Sorry I'm so late getting this started. Yesterday was a busy and bad day for me. Feeling somewhat better today. We're ready to go to church as soon as Jack gets his shoes on and meds taken. He has eaten breakfast(hopefully no insulin reactions today)and take nhis shots.

Our youngest daughter Kris and her children Shad and Cindy will be here by the time we get home. They will just visit with Kyle and Holly and little Skyler until we get here. The are some furniture items that have been abandoned in our machine shed that she is taking. I also have venison and about 50# of chicken for her to take home.

The scales were kind this morning. 142#. I really thought it would be going upward toward 150# but I guess I'm just flabby beyond my imaginition. Time to do some exercises that will tighten up those muscles.

The weather here is lovely today. We are expecting rain this week. I have so many big weeds that have large seed heads that I really must get lopped off and the seed heads put on the burning pile or in a barrel so they can't drop on the ground. I wish I could say a lot of calories would be burned doing this but I don't think it would be true.

I don't know how many of you are close(friendly, emotional type of close) to some hurricane victims, but for those who are and know the people have lost literally everything including their Bibles, they can contact LesSea Broadcasting(World Harvest Television)and they will send them one free in whatever language they need it to be.

For those of you who are experiencing difficulties in your life, I just heard a TV minister talking about the scriptural teaching that no matter what, as long as we are true to JESUS in our hearts and minds, MERCY and GOODNESS will follow you every day of your life. Imagine if you will, 2 large loving angels or figures by those names sent by GOD himself to bring these 2 gifts into your life every day.

GOD bless and keep all of you.
