QueenB(Stacey) just called me to let me know that she, and her family, are ok. The storm that passed through her town was reported to have had winds that were clocked at 175mph.
Fortunately, she was not there. She is staying with family further North. She is anxious to get home and check on her home and pets. She also said she is anxious to get back online.
They may be without power for several more days and up to two more weeks. She will post when she is able to get back online.

QueenB is ok! (175mph winds in her town)
thanks for letting us know! hope she'll find everything of importance just fine when she returns home.
Here I yam! The winds were only 117, recorded a little further north of me, but still pretty destructive. The kids and I came to work today with my husband, since we have no lights or water, and don't anticipate them anytime soon. I'll check in when I can, but I don't know how often that will be. I may be going back up to my dad's place with the kids until we at least get water. My husband is going to try to find a generator Wednesday so we can at least run our deep freeze and a couple of fans.
No damage done to the house, but some of my plants took a real beating. What's funny is that I have a bunch of pots of daylilies sitting on a table next to the fence behind my house. Not the first pot blew off, but all the pots on the ground got knocked over! We lost a few tree tops and a pine, but that's about the extent of our damage, thank goodness!
TTYL,
Stacey
