Doghouse and I just got back from the Paducah, KY AV show. They sure had some beautiful AV's there and we bought several. My question it about the mini's. I am going to set them in a window sill but am not sure what side of the house they like best. Any suggestions? Also, I didn't want to appear stupid but the girl we talked to acted like she keeps her AV's outside in the summer. ( I guess I don't mind being stupid on the net) Do any of you all do that or would you suggest it. I know a couple of my orchids loved it but never thought about putting an AV outside. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

well I feel like a bandwith hog, posting on all the threads :^)
I don't have anything really helpful to say.... I treat minis the same as standards, but find they will bloom fine with slightly (very slightly) less light.
As for putting them outside, there's a thread here by someone who actually planted one outside and it was doing fine so far. I don't see why they shouldn't go out (but in shade), but I would make sure they are protected from critters and slugs etc.
