Remember when.....

...I posted an SOS because my 14 year old helper had cut off the tops of my largest seedlings during a spider mite eradication exercise?

Well...some posted that they had heard it would not be so bad....

...AND they have Y'd and are all filled with buds about to bloom....within the next couple of weeks!!! WOW I couldn't believe it!!! The seedlingsd are less than a year old and only about 5' t all at most .

They are all wild crosses of my unknown gold/yellow and something else....I am really excited. Even the buds look different!!!

We have had reall rainy weather, so I am sending pods out to those who requested from the same plant...other wild crosses.

OF COURSE I will post flowers when they appear!!

Brugs ARE a hoot!

So Happy to hear this follow up story turned out so well Carol. I remember when this happened to you. I bet the trunks are nice and strong on these brugs. Looking forward to pics of them in bloom.

I remember a thread where some said this would spead up their Ying. I wonder now if it is true..........

Good for you Carol. I think waiting too see what you get is the most fun with brugs. Kind of pays you back for all the trouble they can be.

Sure seems true...maybe y'll ought to go out there and pinch off the tops. They Y'd at about 4' tall.

I am a wuss Carol. Too much of a wuss to pinch their little heads off. LOL

By the way, all of those seedlings are less than 1 year old and went into the ground about 5 months ago, I think.

I need to move to Hawaii! For more than that reason. Yesterday I was in a tropical house and I was home.
