Does anyone know a good place to buy some vines and do you have to buy a male and female plant?
I'm looking for the ones that are about the size of a silver dollar.
And is there a certain time of the year to plant them?

http://www.isons.com/index.html. The general recommendation is to plant one self fertile plant to every three female plants. Here late fall/winter is the best time to plant. May be a bit cold in Raleigh.
