LOOKING FOR: Tips on prepairing Hibiscus for shippment

Milton, VT(Zone 4a)

I have several Hibiscus plants that are not suitable for overwintering in Zone 4 and would like to trade them. Does any one know how I would prepair the plant for shipment...ie..cutting and packaging?

Thanks

Aurora, TX(Zone 8a)

I would suggest just wrapping the roots, or cut end, in well-soaked-with-water paper towels, then wrapped and sealed w/tape or rubber band in saran. Rolling the plant in newspaper, etc., and filling the box with paper wads or peanuts will help protect from jousling.
