Brugmansia's and frost?

Rotterdam, NY(Zone 5b)

I'm new to growing Brugsmansia's but I absolutely love what I have seen and read here in the forums. My question is are there any brugmansia's out there that can handle very light frost without getting damaged. We get frost...but not every year...and the years we do...the frost is gone at first light of day.

I want to plant a Brug by my driveway in the ground...sort of like 'plant and forget' type brugmansia. I'm confused also...that some folks say baby them or they'll die...while others are running them over with lawnmowers...and seriously trying to destroy them without success...LOL Any suggestions or comments would be great.

Thanks,
Lisa

I finally found the link

Hope it helps some, I don't know if this is it on the hardy or half hardy brugs, It sort of fizzled out. Ido know they have to be cut to the ground and mulched heavily in order for any of them to come back
