carlab- They are so-o- cute! What kind is that? How long have you had it?

Another question for you banana nanas - Mine has 2 pups that are growing fairly large now (maybe 8" and 12"). Should I cut them off or do something? My "mom" I think may have 2 nanas coming. I just planted it a couple of months ago and I really didn't expect anything this year. Advice, please. Thanks, Barbara

you can cut them off or just let them clump. its really up to you i do both so i get some clumps in the yard.
as to hat kind i have no idea ive had it for a year now but i have know idea what it is

Jerry, it looks like it might be Orinoco. They are pretty good to eat, have an apple flavor, slightly tart. They're an "all purpose" banana and are really good fried.
