Beautiful flower! Welcome to DG. Where is Grassy Creek? I don't think I have heard of it, but I am a transplant. Hope to 'see' you around, I want a cut garden also, would love to see pictures!

Hi and Welcome from Texas!

Grassy Creek is in the highlands of NC near Sparta and Jefferson. We have more snow and longer winters than down in Kernersville. That means a short growing season. This year we've had no frost yet and this is a great year.

Ahh ok, I know where that is now. DH comes there to work sometimes at Ashe Memorial. I have never made that trip with him, so I need to give it a try some time. Nice to meet you.

renfrodiana, I'm down lower, maybe 2300 feet, so everytrhing grows well if I can get enough sun!
