Rosemond blooms at last

Portland, OR(Zone 8b)

A couple of days ago, I was delighted to find a bloom hanging down. Rosemond is probably my favorite brug. Can't beat the color and tendrils. Here's the bloom when I found her.

Oh she's a doll!! I love the tendrils, mine has buds getting ready any time now, I can't wait!!

How is the scent on yours?

Lovely photos, thank you for sharing :)

The next day I was showing off the bloom to my next door neighboors when I accidently snapped it off! Not to waste it, I snapped a few more pics. The bloom had darkened so much just in 24 hours.

Now for some fun with it! Here's my fiancee, rosemond bloom, and his cat.

WOW how cool is that color!! I really love those tendrils!
sorry to hear you snapped it off, but you got a nice shot out of it :)

Being the dork I am, I had to get a pic of it on Eric's head.

LOL posted at same time, I love how large that bloom is, and look! I think the cat's eyes are the same color as the bloom :)

LOLOL it's a perfect fit!, the color is stunning! Thanks for sharing your photos.

Okay, not the most flattering pic, but had to have one with the bloom on my head. I had been out picking scarlet runner beans and didn't realize I had one stuck to my shirt.

tee hee, too cute, bet he didn't tell you until after you let him take the picture!! I am in awe of the size of your bloom!!
Thanks again for the cute thread - just got home from work and needed a chuckle.

Hahahahahaha! Nice to see ya!
Great pics, really got me smiling over here.
The bloom is huge and awesome. Have to get that brug too, lol!
Way to go, Emily!

Looks like you found a great match, Emily! LOL. Your beau is letting you dress him up with your brug bloom. He is so cute too!

I just love that cat. What a beauty. A Himalayan??

Rosamond was my favorite for years. I can't believe that I may get rid of it entirely next year. If she were just a little darker here I would be content. She just blooms and blooms and blooms. I have one of Susie's that is a Rosemond X Pink Beauty that I think is a bit darker but retained all the best traits. I am going to go with that one I think.

Beast (the cat) is a Ragdoll and he's great. He's also an oinker when it comes to anything we're eating, especially turkey. This is Eric feeding him a piece and one of my cats, Willie, is off to the right, waiting patiently for his turn.

He is huge. I have always wanted a ragdoll. I have 4 cats now so I doubt I will get one any year soon. LOL. But tell me, is it true they just sink into your body and go limp? Is he really affectionate?

Your kitty is a doll, too!

Portland, OR(Zone 8b)

Yes, he's pretty floppy and quite the lover. He's also very smart and has learned to recognize about 4 different food-related words like chicken, jerky, goods, treat (of course). He weighs in at close to 17, far more than my 14-pound grey kitty, Willie. Then there's my "living lawnmower" Sophie who likes to eat my plants, even those like my philos that give her monster lips. Her and Willie love each other.
