HAVE: Elephant Ears, Cannas, Dahlias, Amaryllis, More

Northeast, AR(Zone 7a)

If you're coming to my plant swap Sat., I just dug up a nice sized red dahlia plant. I also dug up a clump of peachy orange amaryllis. I'm keeping the bigger bulbs but I have some smaller bulblets to trade, about the size of an acorn or smaller. If you would like to trade for them, let me know.

For special trades, I have (for trade only for something I really want):

Tropicanna cannas
Tropicanna Gold cannas
Red Dazzler cannas
Excalibur ee
Wentii ee
Fallax ee
Amazonica ee
Illustris ee
Black Magic ee
Assorted Named Daylilies
Peacock Ginger - Silver Spot (Kaempferia Pulchra)
Peacock Ginger - Jungle Gold (Cornukaempferia Aurantifolia)
Foxtail Fern (Related to asparagus fern but forms "foxtails" instead of cascading branches)

I am looking for other named daylilies, ee's, and cannas. I would also trade for Preen & Green or some generic version of it.

I have much more, and not enough time to list it all here. If you're coming to the party on Sat, and want some of this stuff, please make me an offer. Due to time and space restraints, I am only trading for other plants or items that I really want.

Hope to see you guys here on Sat!

You have some great plants. Are you still interested in trading?

Wow, how'd I miss this thread???

Butterfly - I have a large, very dark red Canna, orange flowers. I don't know whether it's a Red Dazzler or not.

Steve, if your canna has big orange blooms, it's probably Wyoming. If it has small honeysuckle like blooms, it could be Intrigue. Both have dark burgundy leaves. Red Dazzler has big red/orange streaked blooms, a larger version of Spitfire. RD gets about 7 ft tall in my gardens.

I would consider trading my plants for some unusual plant that I'm really wanting. I especially collect other extraordinary cannas, ee's and daylilies. You can check my member page here:

At the bottom of that page, I list the collections of plants I have, so you can see what not to offer me.

From that page, you can click on my trade list to see other plants I have for trade.

Thank you for looking.

Can you ID this canna for me? Can't find the tag that came with it - I hate when that happens.

Sorry, Steve, I'm not sure which canna that is. It's not Red King Humbert, which has large red blooms. You might check with www.Karcheskycannas.com. You can look at cannas by bloom color and see which matches yours.
